I plan to hold onto this book to use over and over as a workbook. It's an excellent reminder that when you're stuck, creatively or otherwise, to get out of your brain so that you can get passed it and into a place where you generate new ideas and solutions, to elevate your art. When you get stuck in writing? You go for a walk. When you get stuck at work? You take a coffee break- you get out of your brain and into your body. Sometimes we get frustrated and run out of ideas and this books offers several tried and true options. Lea writes in an approachable way and as an established artist of 20 years she's seen every artistic challenge you can think of. She's a Reiki master too and that nurturing magic has wended it's way into her first book. I'm buying several copies as gifts, I can't wait to share!
